Nokia has announced Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 as its first phones under the Windows Phone 8 range. Shipping is expected to start within the year on selected areas first before hitting our shore lands. Pricing would also depend on the respective country.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is sporting the pure view 8-megapixel camera which carries the advanced floating lens technology of the Nokia 808 Pureview Phone. It would mean the Nokia Lumia 920 “is able to take in five times more light than competing smartphones without using flash“.
The other Nokia Windows 8 phone is the stylish Lumia 820 which is a mid-range smartphone that is expected to deliver same performance with the 920. The Lumia 820 has an exchangeable shell with a wide range of colors and has wireless charging capability. Nokia has made available a range of wireless charging accessories and partnerships for the wireless charging station.
The Nokia Lumia 920 comes in yellow, red, grey, white and black. The Nokia Lumia 820 comes in red, yellow, grey, cyan, purple, white and black. Both phones will be available in pentaband LTE and HSPA+ variants.
