Smart-Sun Deal Born After PLDT-Digitel Marriage

What has been feared to have a monopoly in cellular service is seemed to have ride on the “unli” phenomenon of the Sun network.

Smart and Sun networks, both of the PLDT Group, have announced its limited DUAL PLAN offer. For P549 a month, a subscriber can enjoy unlimited text to both networks while getting 2-hours free call to Smart and 4-hours call to Sun.

The amount is divided into P349 for Smart and P200 for Sun. The deal is “sulit” considering that a nearest Sun offer to it is the Plan 600 which has unlimited call and text to Sun only with 350 free texts to other networks and a consumable load credit of P250. While the nearest Smart postpaid plan is the Unli Call & Text 599 Plan which gives free call and text to Smart only and 100 free SMS to other network with a free phone and other freebies.

The Smart-Sun Dual Plan also comes with a free Dual-SIM Nokia C2-03 phone. However, the plan is limited this Christmas and available only in selected Smart Stores and Sun Shops. Smart-Sun now claim the “New Number 1 in PostPaid” with a combined 65 million subscribers. Smart’s parent company PLDT Group recently concluded its buy out deal of Digitel which owned the Sun network.

  2. i have been with smart for 7 years na and wala akong reklamo sa postpaid service nila. i get retention offers 6 months before my contract expires. di katulad sa globe na very complaisant. If you get a retention phone from globe pag hihintayin ka pa nila ng 100 years for the unit to become available. pinaka hate ko yung service center ng globe sa glorietta kasi lagi naka simangot mga tao don!!!

  3. hehehe.. ayaw talaga masabi na #2 lang ang smart when it comes to postpaid subscribers, kaya inangkin na pati postpaid subscribers ng Sun, just to get the lead in postpaid.. Anyway, sa service na lang magkasubukuan..
