Google’s Knol Authors Migrating to WordPress


WordPress has started welcoming today Google Knol users who are migrating to the popular blogging platform. Knol authors can move their articles and collaborative journals before Knol shall completely close down in October next year.

By May 1, 2012, Knol authors could no longer create, edit, view or enter Knols as the site shall move to Annotum, a wordpress-based open-source platform. Knol had been dubbed as wikipedia challenger as the site has collaborative scholastic contents, especially about health. Here’s the notice from Knol at their site.
