Sony Ericsson Celebrates Christmas in 3D with Xperia Ray & and Xperia Active

11.11.11 @ 11am, Sony Ericsson presented to the local Cebu media some of its latest smartphone handsets: the Xperia Active,Xperia Ray, and Xperia Play. The Ray and Active are both equipped with the latest 3D Sweep Panorama technology that could shoot 3D-like images in panoramic view using a single lens only.

Vincent Angelo de la Cruz, SE Product Group Marketing Manager introduced the latest handsets from SE. He told me later that the Xperia Ray and Xperia Active are priced at around P15k and P17k respectively.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray has a sleek design using a solid aluminum frame. SE provided me with this test unit and i will post soon a review about Ray.

The Sony Ericsson Active is built solid and durable being dustproof, scratch-proof, and most of all--water resistant. It can stay submerged in 1-meter deep for about 15-20 minutes. The package comes with a Billabong board back cover and the "Live View" wearable bluetooth notification monitor.

Aside from being both Android and 3D-shot capable, Ray and Active also carry the xLOUD sound enhancing technology from Sony and powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine.

SE officials came to Cebu for the Sony Ericsson 3D Expo@ the SM City Cyberzone that runs since Friday until today (Nov..13). Buyers of Xperia handsets during the duration of the 3D expo have the chance to win any of the over P1 million worth of Sony products.
